Statement on the Recovery of Madison Scott

We at Saik’uz First Nation are grieved to hear of the discovery of the remains of Madison Scott. While we are thankful that her family has been given some measure of closure, it has always been our hope that she would be found alive and well to be reunited with her loved ones. We mourn the loss of what could and should have been, and offer our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her.
