Assistant, Housing & Maintenance

Hours: Full-time, permanent

Positions Summary: As the Housing & Maintenance Assistant, you will provide administrative and office support to the Housing and Operations & Maintenance departments. In this role, you will help ensure records, communications, scheduling support, data entry, and confidential information are managed accurately and respectfully. Your work will support the delivery of housing and maintenance services for Saik’uz First Nation members and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operations of the departments.

Manager, Health

Hours: Full-time, permanent

Position Summary: The Health Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of health services for Saik’uz First Nation. This includes monitoring and managing all health‑related budgets; supervising, supporting, and evaluating health staff; and ensuring effective planning, coordination, evaluation, and seamless delivery of all health programs. The Health Manager works collaboratively with internal departments and external agencies to maintain a high standard of health programs and services for Saik’uz First Nation members.

Security Officer

Hours: Full-time or part-time, permanent

Position Summary: As a Security Officer, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of Saik’uz First Nation’s community and premises. Your responsibilities include conducting regular security patrols, controlling access to protected areas, and responding promptly to incidents such as unauthorized entry or safety threats.

You will implement security protocols, perform routine security checks, and liaise with the RCMP when necessary. Strong observational skills, a sense of duty, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for this role. Your presence helps maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all.

Position Summary: As the Supported Child Development Worker, you will support children in their developmental journey by helping create an inclusive, culturally supportive, and nurturing childcare environment. You will work closely with families, childcare staff, and community supports to help children with extra support needs fully participate in daily activities and experiences. You will also promote healthy child development through culturally appropriate programming, positive social interaction, and individualized support strategies that strengthen the well-being of children and families within the Saik’uz First Nation community.
